By accessing or using Repair Rocket (“the Service”), operated at joinrepairrocket.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Repair Rocket is a platform that connects vehicle owners with independent automotive technicians. Our services include scheduling, repair order management, estimates, communications, and payment processing between customers and technicians. The estimates, calculators, inspection reports, and other tools provided by the platform are informational aids only, as described in section 10 below.
Technicians using the Repair Rocket platform agree to:
Insurance and licensing are solely the technician's responsibility. Each technician is responsible for obtaining and maintaining any insurance coverage (including general liability and garage keepers coverage) and any licensing appropriate for the services they perform and required by their jurisdiction. Repair Rocket does not provide insurance coverage to technicians, does not require proof of insurance, and does not verify any technician's insurance or licensing status. By offering services through the platform, each technician represents that they understand and accept this responsibility.

By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive service-related text messages from Repair Rocket. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance. Your consent is not a condition of using our services. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Repair Rocket may facilitate payment collection between customers and technicians but is not responsible for disputes over the quality or scope of work performed. Payment disputes should first be resolved directly between the customer and technician.
If you are not happy with a paid Repair Rocket subscription, email us within 30 days of a charge and we will refund that charge in full. One refund per account. Refunds go back to the original payment method and your plan drops to the free tier when the refund is issued. This guarantee covers subscription fees only, not payments between customers and technicians.
Repair Rocket is a software platform that connects customers with independent automotive technicians. Repair Rocket does not perform, supervise, direct, or control any repair or diagnostic work. Technicians are independent contractors - they are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Repair Rocket, and nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, or joint venture relationship.
The agreement for any repair or diagnostic work is solely between the customer and the technician. Repair Rocket is not a party to that agreement. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered through the platform, though we strive to maintain high standards through reviews and dispute resolution processes.
By booking or requesting services through the platform, customers acknowledge that Repair Rocket does not verify any technician's insurance coverage, and that any claim arising out of the performance of repair or diagnostic work is against the technician who performed it, not against Repair Rocket.
Automotive repair and diagnostic work carries inherent risk. Customers select the technician they hire and are solely responsible for evaluating whether a technician is suitable for the work requested. Repair Rocket does not inspect, test, or certify any technician's workmanship.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Repair Rocket, its owner, and its affiliates from any and all claims, demands, and damages of every kind, known or unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with a dispute between you and another user of the platform, including disputes between customers and technicians over the quality, safety, timeliness, pricing, or scope of any work.
The platform includes software tools such as estimate builders, labor rate and travel fee calculators, inspection templates, suggested response options, sample inspection reports, and vehicle information reports. Some of these tools use artificial intelligence to generate text, suggestions, or images.
All tool output is an informational aid only. It may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong, and it is not professional, mechanical, legal, or financial advice. The technician is solely responsible for verifying every price, labor time, part, diagnosis, and repair decision before relying on it or presenting it to a customer. Customers must rely on their technician, not on platform-generated content, for decisions about their vehicle.
Some images in sample inspection reports may be AI-generated and labeled as examples. Vehicle data shown in reports may come from third-party sources and is not guaranteed to be accurate or complete. Repair Rocket is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on any tool output or AI-generated content.
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Repair Rocket disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that any content, estimate, report, or result obtained through the service will be accurate or reliable.
Each technician agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Repair Rocket, its owner, and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) services the technician performs or fails to perform for any customer; (b) the technician's violation of these terms or of any applicable law; (c) the technician's failure to carry insurance appropriate for the services they perform; or (d) estimates, inspection reports, or other content the technician creates or sends through the platform.
Each customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Repair Rocket, its owner, and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) the customer's vehicle or its condition; (b) the customer's violation of these terms or of any applicable law; or (c) the customer's dealings or disputes with any technician.
The Repair Rocket name, logo, and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by Repair Rocket and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Repair Rocket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Repair Rocket is not liable for the acts or omissions of any user of the platform, including any technician or customer.
Our total liability for all claims arising out of or related to the service shall not exceed the greater of one hundred dollars ($100) or the amounts you paid to Repair Rocket in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. These limitations apply even if any limited remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Before filing any claim against Repair Rocket, you agree to first contact us at the email address below and give us thirty (30) days to work toward an informal resolution.
Any dispute between you and Repair Rocket that is not resolved informally shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, held in Dallas County, Texas or conducted remotely by videoconference. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
You and Repair Rocket each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in any class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding. Claims must be brought within one (1) year after the claim arises, or the claim is permanently barred, to the extent permitted by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. For any matter not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us. Sections 8 through 16 and section 19 survive any termination of your account or these terms.
We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Repair Rocket regarding the service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect, and the unenforceable provision is enforced to the maximum extent permitted. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. There are no third-party beneficiaries of these terms.
